Masterclass Classical Guitar
Alexander Swete (Österreich)
This class will cater to students of Classical Guitar and advanced Classical Guitarists who may present
pieces of their own choice and work on the improvement of their playing style perfecting their performance.
'The Art of Improvisation' Workshop Jazz Guitar
Wolfgang Muthspiel (Österreich)
A workshop of the highest art for jazz guitar will be offered to you by the exceptional Austrian jazz guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel.
For active participants it would be helpful to have some experience of the art of improvisation.
Passive participants are welcome to get new impulse through listening and observation and so widen their horizon.
Masterclass Classic & World Guitar

Performing- Listening- Learning. The participants will get new impulses in Classical, Latin, Jazz and
World Guitar Music by Australian's finest guitar duo 'The Grigoryan Brothers'.
Workshop Classical Guitar

This workshop focuses on intonation and sound techniques, musical imagination and interpretation as well
as on working on selected solo and ensemble pieces for classical guitar.
Vocal Workshop for all Festival Participants
Ali Gaggl (Österreich)
The Austrian jazz vocalist Ali Gaggl will be opening our workshop cycle with vocal training and exercises
catering to all participants of the festival. The goals of this workshop are: increase your own voice
through technical know-how (breathing and warm ups), broadening of your musical spectrum and the art of
vocal improvisation.
Creative Percussion Workshop
Luis Ribeiro (Brasilien)
The Focus of the workshop will be to improve your feeling for rhythm of all kind.

- Improve concentration, rhythm and your individual way of making music and lots of fun!
Body and music - Körperarbeit für Musiker
Workshop geleitet von Sabine Hasicka, Physiotherapeutin und Tänzerin
This workshop shows simple exercises which bring the anatomy and physiological motion to the attention
of the audience. This will improve finger-skills and also prevent physical problems.
Sabine Hasicka is a trained dancer and physiotherapist with many years of experience in the treatment
of music-specific motorical ailments.
Jam Session
La Guitarra esencial invites the students of the guitar festival as well as local artists to prove their
skills until late in the night.
